All you have to do is wrap a box ( recycle one if you can) in plain or fancy giftwrapping paper and glue a cupcake or other sweet treat postcard or greetings card on the lid.  Place your Easter Gift inside with some co- ordinating tissue paper, add some pretty polka dot ribbon and you have a beautifully giftwrapped gift fit for a prince or princess! If you wish to be really creative you could use some glitter glue to decorate around the edges of the cakes in your postcard as you can see on the one above.  Now your gift box can be used again and again as a pretty and useful storage box for jewellery or other trinkets as desired.

I love Mothers Day!  It is the one day of the year when I really don’t feel guilty if the family pamper me.  I think its because I feel justified in having some fuss from them to make up for the ‘war wounds’ I suffered while having them and the 5 years of sleepless nights with the last one who although I love her dearly, nearly drove me to the verge of insanity!! Now I know why sleep deprivation is a form of torture and my husband does not dare even squeak about how he had a bad night’s sleep last week.

Kids!  Who’d have them?  Well me for a start and I would not be without my two gorgeous girls. 

I plan to send my own lovely Mum an extra special present this year for all the wonderful support she has given me whilst I have been building this business.  Alison’s Mum is also an absolute star and – we hope they are not looking – because here are our choices for our own Mums Mothers Day Gifts!!

The lovely turquoise blue felt brooch is for my Mum along with some French scented soaps, wrapped in pretty fabric.  My Mum loves France and we have fond memories of our week in Nice where we were almost arrested for drinking champagne on the beach.  Unbeknown to us at the time, this was more offensive that topless sunbathing to the natives!!

Alison has chosen a beautiful lemon scented organic soap set for her lovely Mum and as an extra treat she has added these beautiful Grace pearl and crystal earrings.  Alison’s Mum loves all things sparkly but nothing too over the top so these are absolutely perfect.
