Mother - Framed Typographic Illustration
This beautiful German dictionary was my Mum's when she was at school. She would prefer me to point out that she didn't buy it new! It is around 100 years old. This design is perfect for a Mother's Day gift - or just because you love your Mum!
'Mother' is written in 9 different languages, and a little ink and watercolour flower is added to the corner.
Each piece of text and
illustration is lovingly inked onto the page by hand.
The frames are made of wood from sustainable forests, and the whole thing is put together by hand in Northamptonshire.
The frames stand up on their own, on shelves and mantle pieces, or look great hung on walls, especially in groups. Each piece comes beautifully gift wrapped in recycled packaging.
Due to the vintage materials used, and the fact that each piece is hand drawn, there will be slight differences between these pictures and the final product. That's what makes them special!
