Glittering,white and silver necklace featuring a vintage diamante brooch, vintage lace and both modern and vintage beads. The necklace is made by winding strands of beads around a length of vintage lace either side of a floral design, diamante brooch. The brooch is probably forties or fifties. Among the beads used are silver lined, vintage bugle beads, seed pearls and freshwater pearls. to finish the necklace there is a short length of bead weaving, using tiny japanese tube beads, narrowing to the fastener, which consists of an old mother of pearl button with a button hole worked into the opposite end. The necklace is perfect to complete a wedding outfit and similar pieces can be made to order. I have a collection of vintage jewellery and lace, but a piece of your own could be used. Perhaps there's a piece of jewellery belonging to relative which could find a new lease of life, or part of an old wedding dress could form the basis for a new piece of jewellery. The necklace measures Approximately 44cm around, it is possible to extend it if required.
