Tea and Cake- the perfect partners! The Duchess of Bedford (1788-1861) complained about a sinking feeling in the late afternoon. Afternoon Tea was her invention to keep her going until dinner. She would invite friends to join her for tea in her boudoir. Thus began the tradition of Afternoon Tea. A charming handmade tea cosy in duck egg blue cotton. The contrasting French-inspired lining is scattered with little strawberry-red rosebuds; exclusive to Juju and Bubba. This would make a delightful personal gift adding character and personality as well as a pop of colour to any kitchen! Individually handcrafted by Jules in her studio, so there will be some very slight variations in pattern placement, appliquéd fabrics, etc. Item is handmade to order.
