Silvessence

silvessence is all about fine jewellery made with passion, intregrity and vision. All pieces are individually designed and handcrafted by Annette and many designs are one offs. Sometimes Annette finds inspiration from the world around me, and sometimes designs simply present themselves to her intuitively. Her silver work is primarily with Precious Metal Clay (PMC), a material that produces 99% pure fine silver after firing, using recycled silver. Annette often combines PMC with cubic zirconia as it is one of the few stones that can reliably withstand the firing process. Curiously, even diamonds can't. She also works with semi precious stones, water pearls and Swarovski crystals, and sterling silver wire. All findings are sterling silver. Annette has a special interest in personalised items and the flagship silver book was originally created for a close friend. She also takes care that all materials and stones are from reputable sources and they are all cleansed before they are worked with.
